Healthier Chocolate Frosty

This healthier version of a summer classic is such a refreshing treat on a hot summer day!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups vanilla unsweetened almond milk divided (I used Earth's Own)
  • 2 large frozen bananas
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • Frozen coconut whip optional

Instructions

  1. Freeze 1 cup of the almond milk in an ice cube tray until frozen. Freeze your bananas.

  2. Once frozen, blend the almond milk ice cubes with the remaining 1 1/4 cups almond milk, bananas, maple syrup, cocoa powder, and vanilla until smooth.

  3. Portion into 2 tall cups and top with a spoonful of coconut whip if desired before enjoying!
