White Winter Sangria

A bright and fresh bubbly holiday sangria, with seasonal cranberries and apples.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup frozen cranberries
  • 1 cup white cranberry juice
  • 3 ounces brandy
  • 1 bottle prosecco
  • 1/2 bottle dry white wine
  • 2 sliced apples
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 cup ice
  • star anise or rosemary for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add sugar to pitcher, lightly muddle with half the frozen cranberries and white cranberry juice for just a few seconds or until sugar is dissolved. Use a muddler or wooden spoon.

  2. Add in the brandy and muddle again.

  3.  Add in prosecco and white wine. Stir to combine.

  4. Add in the apple, cinnamon sticks, the rest of the cranberries and ice. Stir and taste! Adjust to your liking.

  5. Garnish cups with apple slices and star anise or rosemary!
