Baked Eggnog French Toast

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups eggnog
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 12 thick slices bread
  • 1/2 cup butter, cubed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F and spray a 9x13" baking dish with nonstick spray.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, eggnog, cinnamon, vanilla, and nutmeg. Soak each piece of bread in the mixture on both sides for 30 seconds and layer in the baking dish.

  3. Scatter the top with the butter cubes and place in the oven. Bake for 1 hour.

  4. Serve warm topped with a drizzle of maple syrup!
