Cinnamon Roll Smoothie

Have your cake (or cinnamon roll) and eat it too... for breakfast!  This Cinnamon Roll Smoothie is packed with protein and fibre, whips up in a minute and is soooo yummy!  It also happens to be dairy free.

Ingredients

  • 2 pitted Medjool dates
  • 1/4 cup large flake oats (we used Quaker - use gluten free if needed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 pinches nutmeg
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter

Instructions

  1. In a high speed blender, add all ingredients and blend on high for approximately 45 seconds or until thoroughly blended. Pour into 2 glasses and enjoy!
