Giving back is something very important to us here at Fraîche Living. We are passionate about supporting charities and causes, both locally and globally when possible.
If you are someone looking to support some causes, please consider donating by clicking any of the links below.
UN Refugee Agency Canada – Ukraine: The situation in Ukraine will have devastating humanitarian consequences for tens of thousands of families. UNHCR has stepped up our operations and capacity in Ukraine and neighbouring countries, to provide humanitarian assistance to people who are fleeing their homes seeking safety and protection.
Kelowna Community Fridge: Helping those facing food insecurity access free, fresh, and nutritious food 24/7, no questions asked. We often drop off food when I can to fill the fridge that is almost always in need of some donations.
Mamas For Mamas: A national charitable organization that supports mothers and caregivers in crisis by providing ongoing support to individuals and families facing various poverty-related struggles.
One Tree Planted: A non-profit organization focused on global reforestation. With every purchase of a Fraîche Crew, 1 tree is planted through them!
Alzheimer Society of Canada: Tori’s incredible father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease a couple of years ago. In honour of him and all affected Canadians, $10 from each purchase of the So Pretty Forget Me Not Necklace is lovingly donated to the Alzheimer Society of Canada to aid in their fight against this disease.
Chefs in the Classroom: An Okanagan inspired, hands-on curriculum for teachers and students focusing on introducing children to farming and gardening best-practices in our community, and engaging children through hands on and interactive experiences (like cooking, composting, and gardening). They operate wth a volunteer team of chefs, nutritionists (Tori included!) and gardeners.
Central Okanagan Community Food Bank: A non-profit, charitable organization committed to providing food and household items to those who need it most.
