Growing up in the Okanagan, I was surrounded by beautiful orchards and vineyards…and of course wineries! But one winery has a special place in my heart, Quail’s Gate. I used to catch the school bus across the street from Quail’s Gate winery, and at that time the only thing on the property was an old log cabin pictured below. My parents still own our family house down the street, and now I am so lucky to live down the road with our little family; I simply adore this area. The winery has grown into the most beautiful place, producing some of the best wine in the province! If you ever have a chance to sip a glass of wine on their patio at the Old Vines Restaurant, you’ll see why I’m so in love.
