You think you’ll have a thousand more Halloweens... but you don’t. 🎃 Charlie didn’t want to trick-or-treat this year, and it hit me harder than I expected.

The boys are growing up faster than I’m ready for, and this season reminded me of something important: the moments we’re living right now? They don’t last forever. One day, they’re just memories.

So hold them a little tighter. Soak it all in - even the chaos (let’s just say I am not a Halloween gal but I’m here for the kids and the memories). These are the moments we will treasure forever. 🤍

The other day I was having one of THOSE days. You know the ones - nothing was clicking, my focus was completely shot, and everything just felt... off. So I set a timer for 10 minutes and did a full desk reset.

Cleared all the clutter (no judgment please 😅), wiped everything down, organized my to-do list, and honestly? I felt like a completely different person afterward.

5 years of Whistler memories.

This year’s trip was a quick one with everything going on at home, but it was so needed. There’s something about those familiar mountains, the beautiful winding roads that lead us there each fall (and the car sickness every year, lol), the same sweet faces who greet us (love our Fairmont “family”), and watching the boys grow up in the same hallways that makes it all feel timeless.

Every year, it hits me how fast time moves. Charlie is now walking in size 11 shoes, Max right behind him, and I can still see their little footprints from our first trip here (or more likely their fingerprints, you know, boys).

Whistler has become our reset button. Our tradition. A reminder to slow down and hold on to the things that matter most. I didn’t book @flytographer this year (and I definitely missed it), but here’s a mix of my favourite photos from the past five years, filtered and unfiltered. ❤️

I’m putting together a blog post soon to help you plan your own Whistler getaway with all our favourite places to stay, eat, and explore. And do I hear a giveaway coming?!
