She’s everything you could want in a pie: flaky, buttery, sweet, and wonderfully cinnamon-y (that’s a word right?). Serve it solo, with ice cream or whipped cream this thanksgiving or ANY time of year!!!

Pumpkin Spice season is HERE and you know I had to spice it up with @gayleafoodscoop Pumpkin Spice Whipped Topping! 🙌🏼

Whether you’re topping off fluffy pancakes or waffles for breakfast, adding a fall touch to your morning coffee, or finishing a classic pumpkin pie for dessert, this Pumpkin Spice Whipped Topping makes everything better... and as a fun bonus, my boys love it straight from the can—who can resist?! 😂

Ready to bring that fall flavour into your kitchen? 🍂 I’m sharing my Pumpkin Pie Filling recipe in the caption! Don’t forget to SAVE and SHARE so you can try it at home!

Ingredients:
398 mL can pure pumpkin
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
pinch of cloves
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 well beaten eggs
354 mL can of evaporated milk
@gayleafoodscoop Pumpkin Spice Whipped Topping (to serve)

1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. Mix all of the ingredients together with a whisk until smooth.
3. Pour the mixture into pre-made pie crusts and bake for approximately 50-60 minutes or until the center of the pie is set (it won’t look liquid in the middle when you shake it - a knife inserted into the center will come out clean when done).

Whistler 🏔️🏔️ day 2 - the mountains are pure therapy (and good thing because we could use some therapy lol).

1. Tried 428 times to take a family selfie. This was as good as it gets. 🤣
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

3. Tried an Escape room - OK I confess, we’ve actually done all of them and this was the second time doing Yukon gold. I’m sad to report that it was no easier the second time. Never felt so stupid in my life lol 🫠

Whistler 🏔️ Day 1
1. Drove the back way through Pemberton. Like a postcard at every return, but also made the kids 🤢

2. Arrived at our fav spot @fairmontwhistlr - sigh… just pure perfection. I was grumpy so put myself down for a nap. 10/10. Take the nap ladies.

3. Fireside lunch in the Mallard Lounge 🦆 - always perfection.

4. Dinner at The Grill Room - damn that was good. Adam - legit the best server I’ve ever had. Magic tricks & 🔥 ? Seriously. Still haven’t left the hotel at this point but not sad about it.
