A failed business, 16 years in a job I never meant to keep, and some VERY questionable lettuce wraps. 😂 Somehow, it all led me here... to hang with YOU!

Hi, I’m Tori! 👋🏼 With so many new faces around here lately, I thought it was time to share a little more about the winding road that brought me to this corner of the internet.

There was a Grade 5 lesson about bread, a life-changing phone call in France, a few wrong turns, and a whole lot of learning along the way. Turns out, sometimes the detours are the best part of the story. 🤍

Swipe through to get to know me a little better! Now I’m curious: are you doing what you thought you’d be doing when you grew up? Drop a 🙋🏼‍♀️ for YES or a 😂 for NOT EVEN CLOSE!

Here’s to making life a little more nourishing, beautiful, and simple, so we can focus on the things that really matter. And thank you for being here. Truly. 🤍

Your Thanksgiving table called. It wants this gorgeous, cheesy situation. ❤️💜 Follow @fraichetable and comment GRATIN for the recipe!

This healthier gratin skips the traditional cream and layers russet potatoes, sweet potatoes, and beets in a garlicky béchamel, then tops it all off with a blanket of bubbly, golden Gruyère. The beets turn every layer a jewel-toned pink, so it truly steals the show on any table. Almost too pretty to eat. Almost.

As a dietitian, I fully support any situation where vegetables are the most popular thing on the table. As someone who loves cheese, I fully support this whole Gruyère situation.

Fair warning: the turkey may have some competition this year. 🦃

Thanksgiving’s almost over but don’t get too comfy ladies... next stop? Halloween 😅. Honestly, a little pumpkin wine dispenser might help us ease into the transition (and make you the most popular home with the parents for trick or treating). 🎃🍷

All of a sudden pumpkin carving is my new favourite activity....

It’s as easy as:

1️⃣ Cut the top off a large pumpkin, empty the guts to make room for more wine, and carve a hole at the bottom for the spout.
2️⃣ Pop a bag of wine inside (this is no time to be fancy friends). Red feels especially on theme but you do you. 👻
3️⃣ Pour yourself a glass and enjoy your very festive little bar.

Save this for Halloween or a fall girl’s night or just for an excuse to hide some wine, and tag a friend who’d be more than happy to help you test it out! ;)
