For those of you who have followed me for a while, you know that I’m head over heels in love with Quails’ Gate Winery. Growing up across the street from the winery and seeing the incredible transformation of this family-owned estate over the years has been amazing to witness. The Okanagan Valley is over-flowing with wineries, but Quails’ Gate holds a very special place in my heart.
The Stewart family has done such a fabulous job of keeping it classy, cozy and intimate, creating the ‘Audrey Hepburn’ of wineries. I feel ridiculously fortunate that we just bought a house down the street from them, it’s my adult dream come true! I’m therefore THRILLED to be giving away a two-night stay for up to four guests at the adorable “Nest” beach front cottage ($1300 value).
This newly renovated cottage has three bedrooms, sleeping up to seven people, with an open concept kitchen and living room looking out across the large deck and private beach. Nestled at the bottom of the vineyards, you have access to the very best in wining, dining and all aspects of a vacation getaway at your doorstep. It’s perfect for families or couples vacationing together, completely secluded with lots of green space for lawn games, and is located beside a wildlife sanctuary (you can often see deer, osprey, pheasants, swans, coyotes, moose and a resident beaver swimming around, just to name a few!). To top it off, Quails’ Gate is also giving away dinner for four people at the Old Vines Restaurant as a part of the prize (up to $275). With spectacular views of the lake from the winery’s patio, it is THE best spot to take in the beautiful Okanagan scenery while sipping world-class wine, either at the tasting bar or down in the Old Vines Restaurant (don’t even get me started on the food, the chef is a genius). It is my favourite place to chill out and enjoy a beautiful meal with my husband or girlfriends, I’m so excited for the winner!
Kelowna is known for the epic summers, but it is truly gorgeous at every time of the year! We went to Kelowna for our honeymoon and stayed at a lovely B&B across the road from Quail’s Gate overlooking the vineyard. We had a fantastic dinner there too, it was fabulous…the cuisine and the grounds. We would love to go back again, I’m going to try and enter the contest. Cheers!

I have always wanted to check out a winery. This looks absolutely amazing. Would be a great place to have a wonderful weekend -romance with my husband, an amazing dinner and tasting of great wines with our best friends. This is soooo what I need after a tough year! Would be an amazing experience.
