Gardening is one of my biggest passions, and our final giveaway to close out our 5 Days of Mothers Day Giveaway, is for a pair of STUNNING black planter boxes from Hauser, valued at $770. It’s time to roll up those sleeves and play in the dirt my friends!
I’ve always been attracted to a traditional classic look – it, by definition, never goes out of style! I learned most of what I know about style from my sweet mama. Her and I share a love of design and have spent hours on end together pouring through magazines gushing over images.
Hauser offered to give away 2 of these classy Black X Planter Boxes which will make the perfect gift for some lucky gal! We are furnishing our outdoor pool area with their products, and I can’t wait. Everything is such good quality and made to last.

You can also get inserts at most gardening stores. Note: the greenery is not included.
The boxes are crafted from powder-coated aluminum for longevity in harsh climates.

Choosing Plants for Planter Boxes
There is really no limit to the types of plants that you can use in planter boxes, but I have always loved the layered look with a taller element in the centre. I went with these stunning top-grafted lavender plants (got them at Byland’s in West Kelowna) surrounded by white annuals. A mix of petunias, million bells, … will grown in perfectly to cascade over the edge. So showy! I think that a potted boxwood would be beautiful too!
