You heard it here first, I’m writing ANOTHER cookbook! I’m dishing out the details today on the blog and sharing the basic steps on how a cookbook comes to life, in case you’ve ever wondered.
I’ve had the privilege of writing two best-selling cookbooks (pinch me!) with my cousin, Jillian. Through that process, I’ve learned how much of a labour of love writing cookbooks is at the same time, how incredible it feels to launch them into the world—a true legacy project. Seeing you bring the cookbook recipes to life in your very own kitchens has been one of the greatest joys of my career. So, when the opportunity presented itself to do another one (solo this time), I jumped at the chance. I’m SO excited to bring you along for the ride… again!
What is this Cookbook About?
I’m on a mission to simplify mealtimes and help people consistently eat better at home. Which is why I am SO PUMPED that this cookbook is all about meal planning!
For those who may or may not know, I am a meal planning expert and Registered Dietitian, and have been helping busy people eat better at home for over a decade. I launched the first iteration of my Fraîche Table Meal Plan at the same time that Covid hit the world: not planned, my friends. Little did I know just how helpful it would be for people pivoting the way they put food on the table (which was everyone, of course).
The simple pdf version of the meal plan has evolved into a digital meal planning subscription service that I’m so proud of: Fraîche Table. We help thousands of people every day eat better at home through the power of meal planning. I am excited to take all my learnings, inspiration, and wisdom and create what I hope to be the best meal planning cookbook out there.
What is the Process for Writing a Cookbook?
I had no clue how much work it was publishing a cookbook: go kiss your cookbooks, they deserve it! The process of writing a cookbook takes around three plus years and involves an incredible amount of creativity, writing skills, work ethic, and meticulous attention to detail.
Without getting too detailed (likely a whole separate blog post), once a publisher is secured the hard work starts. It’s basically one and a half years of serious cooking and writing plus a year of back-and-forth editing and another year of waiting for it to be printed before you can present the book to the world.
When Will the New Cookbook be Released?
The journey has only just begun! I will share details as I go along in the coming weeks, months and years. Yes, I said years! The goal is to have this in your hands and kitchen fall of 2026. Patience isn’t my strongest virtue, but I promise it’ll be worth it.
YOUR TURN! What do You Want to See Included?
Please drop your comments, questions, suggestions, or even some words of encouragement below! What problems do you have when it comes to putting food on the table? What kinds of recipes do you want to see in this cookbook? Don’t hold back. Consider me your free (food) therapist, and this new book your how-to guide to achieving mealtime all-star status.
I love hearing from you, and hope you feel excited to follow this journey with me. Thank you so much for your support, it means the world to me. Now, I have some serious work to do….Wish me luck! xo
Danielle says
I don’t have any questions but I just want to say I wish you the best of luck on this journey of writing. Tori, everything you do has a certain unmatched class of it own that undoubtedly, will result in an amazing book. I am a foodie myself and have collected several of your recipes. I can’t say that about many bloggers. Congratulations !!!!
Looking forward to it ❤️
Megan Spencer says
Congrats Tori! This is very exciting 😊
Tori W. says
Thanks so much Megan! xo
Lori says
I am so excited!! Congratulations, your culinary passion and creativity are sure to shine on every page! I can’t wait to see her the delicious recipes!
Tori W. says
Hi Lori! Thanks so much for the support, it means the world! I feel really lucky to be able to do this. xo Tori
Tina says
I like healthy meals, less salt and sugar but still tasty. Not too complicated and using regular pantry items. I also like alternatives to items if not available.
Thank you and good luck with your cookbook!
Tori W. says
Hey Tina! Thanks for the feedback. I’m all for uncomplicated! I hope to do you proud with this one. 🙂 xo Tori
Rosalee says
Please include nutritional information for all the recipes. For those tracking macros having weight instead of just cups included would also be helpful.
Tori W. says
Hi Rosalee! Great feedback thank you!!
Wendy says
Congratulations, it will be a best seller for sure!
Tori W. says
You are so kind Wendy thank you!! xo Tori
Linda Lavigne says
Congratulations Tori! I really don’t have a question just yet, but as a single retired person I can’t afford to eat like I used to. I find buying all the ingredients needed to make a healthy meal not possible with the cost of groceries. I’m now buying ready made frozen dinners.
I bought your last book and I will buy your next book because I like supporting women and especially Canadian women.
Heather KE says
Amazing! Can’t wait.
I would love a cookbook that has healthy & delicious recipes that the ingredients help us navigate these ever rising cost hikes in food. So having some budget flexibility on ingredients (fresh vs. frozen) and then the same ingredients have the ability to move into other meals that week- to help eliminate food waste at the end of the week.
Can’t wait for the new book!
Tori W. says
Hi Heather! Love those ideas. Thanks so much! xo Tori
Jenn says
This is so exciting! I use the first two cookbooks all the time. I would love more vegetarian receipts since they are my fave and more ways to get veggies into my kids, that’s always the trickiest part of meals for me.
H says
This is exciting! Your website is already my go to for repeat recipes for my family – pumpkin breakfast cookies, chocolate banana cake/muffins, lunchbox cookies and veggies muffins to name a few. I would love to see all the simple recipes for families, kids lunches & snacks, easy dinners to make ahead or freeze, etc. I love Fraîche Table and all of the recipes on there have been a hit with my family! Congratulations!!
Adrienne says
I absolutely love your two cookbooks. The meals are so flavourful. I would love to keep seeing vegetarian/ vegan options as well as meals that we can freeze to make late night dinners easy to just pull out and reheat.
Nadine says
Yes to this!!
Susan says
I only have a comment. I have both your cookbooks and I love them as they have variations for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. With so many varied diets, I really like this feature of your previous books so I hope you continue with that format.
Tori W. says
Hi Susan! First, I am so grateful you have both my books! I love that about the previous books as well. Thanks for sharing this feedback! xo Tori
Cathy says
A section in the cookbook where there are fast and simple recipes ,I’m not a fan of cooking,I basically do because I have too lol , so when you see these beautiful elaborate photos of amazing food, I think it’s gonna take forever to do that so I don’t I know it takes time what would be great would be one pot or one pan meals something simple congratulations on your new cookbook. Looking forward to it. !!!!💗
Tori W. says
Hey Cathy, I love this note! Simple One Pot or One Pan meals are definitely a focus in this book. I have already made some amazing recipes I can’t wait to share…
xo Tori
Karissa says
So excited for this next one! I’m looking for 30 minute meals and maybe some crockpot ones too for those busy days when I’m just not home!
Taliah says
Oh this is exciting!
By chance do you have any freezer meal ideas or could there be a section or tips on this included in the book?
It doesn’t matter how much I try to plan, I end up still reaching for freezer meals on the really busy days and it would be nice to have some healthier frozen meals to choose from.
Thanks!
Tori W. says
Hey Taliah!
Freezer meals will definitely be part of this book. I can really relate, and love having things ready in my freezer that I KNOW are healthy. Coming soon! xo Tori
Josi Johns says
With my family of 5, we have one vegetarian (myself), one celiacs (my 12 yo daughter), 2 boys (16 and18) and my husband. I cook every night, but it’s hard to come up with variety, and I’m not a fan of making different meals for different dietary needs. So meals with easy to access ingredients that will work for the whole family. I’d also love some creative lunch ideas for school and work. Good luck!!
Tori W. says
Hi Josi! Love the note on “variety” here! I can help with that! Also, YES to more creative lunch ideas…I have work to do! xo Tori
Stephanie says
I would love to see some more of your “sneaky mommy” recipes and easy cleanup/one pot meals. Congratulations Tori! Your cookbooks with Jillian (and your blog!) are my #1 go-to’s…can’t wait to get my hands on this book!
Tori W. says
Hi Stephanie! Thank you so much, and I love the ideas. I couldn’t agree more! People need more one pot, simple and “sneaky/hidden veggie” ideas. Time to get to work! xo Tori
Jo says
Congratulations Tori!
I would love to see some easy crock pot recipes.
Tori W. says
Thanks Jo! Okay I’ve made a note!! xo Tori
Cindy Rathgeber says
Hi Tori! No questions. I just want to congratulate you on your own cookbook. I have your last cookbook, with Jillian, Fraiche Food, Fuller Hearts. Love it. I follow you two on Instagram. I am single and retired. With the cost of groceries. I also struggle a little, to afford to eat as healthy as I can. So batch cooking and slow cooker recipe ideas would be much appreciated.
Tori W. says
Hi Cindy! Thank you so much!
Okay I have made a note, and I am already working on some amazing big-batch recipes that I hope you love! xo Tori
Gail Nowakowsky says
Congratulations!
Karen Van Vloten says
What an exciting journey ahead Tori and I am excited for this book. For me its always GF due to a gluten sensitivity, also lower carb and low sodium. Best wishes!
Justine says
Easy and quick meals are key. My biggest struggle is with 3 younger kids.. that are picky and all like different foods. I know as they grow up it’ll get easier and that I shouldn’t cater to 3 different meals each night, but it’s hard to find meals that will be eaten by everyone and that my husband and I can also eat and enjoy. A dairy free modification option would also be amazing! Crock pot/instant pot meals and sheet pan or one pot meals!! I’d love to start doing more crock pot type meals that aren’t chillis and stews lol
Debbie De Jong says
Easy and quick, I agree…also nutritious. No vegan in nature.. I have a real meat and potatoes kind of husband. He does stray some but I agree with Justine says in her post. Hearty meals that most people love. Good luck on your new venture. I’m sure it will be a hit like your collabs with Jillian. Excited to watch your journey
Tori W. says
Hi Debbie! Thank you so much for the support. “Hearty meals that people love”… I love that! xo Tori
Candice says
Congratulations!! So happy for you! I would love family friendly, healthy and simple meals.
Mandy says
My problem is my husband does not eat veggies! He eats corn and peas so making meals is tough! I don’t want to cook multiple meals for dinner but want to eat healthy and I love all veggies!
Dawn says
Congratulations Tori. I look forward to your next cookbook. As I’m aging (in my 60’s) I find my appetite changing. I used to love all foods, now I’m finding things that I loved before, I no longer enjoy. I’d like to see simple easy recipes for all meals, a few ingredients for each meal, however tasty! I’m not shy about using herbs and spices. Enjoy the process Tori, along with your wonderful team.
Dallas Hengstler says
Your Fraiche table subscription has saved my life. I am so busy working full-time and going to school full-time that my brain cells are tired at the end of the day. I appreciate the quick, simple, and veggie-forward meals I can put on the table for my family. I am okay with crock pot meals as long as there is not too much prep involved the morning of because, as you know, mornings are the busiest time to get out the door. The thing I love about the meals and recipes you develop is that they are foolproof and always so tasty. Sometimes, when my husband makes the meals, he will question the process, and I always say, “Trust the process” because the meal comes out flawless every time. Keep on doing what you do because it truly works. I have both of your cookbooks and undoubtedly will get this one too, I’m a big fan over here.
xo Dallas
Tori W. says
Hi Dallas! WOW!
This knocked my socks off. Thank you for sharing this with me. It means THE WORLD!
Thank you for trusting me with your family mealtimes! I am so grateful to have you in this community.
xo Tori
Cora says
How exciting!! Congratulations 🥳
I love your first two, especially the plant focused ideas. Healthy meal prep ideas for lunches and dinners I can use help with. And sometimes I feel overwhelmed with choices and a fridge full of veggies 🥕 Hard to decide what to make. Can’t wait to see the book 📖 All the best!
Tori W. says
Hi Cora, Thank you so much! xo Tori
Lisa says
I am sooooo excited for your new cookbook!!! Would love to have recipes that are low-sugar, diabetic friendly. Congratulations!!!
Tori W. says
Thank you so much Lisa! I am so excited too! xo Tori
Liz Oliveira says
Congratulations! I have both the cooks books you and Jillian collabed on and plan to get your solo cookbook!
Looking for quick easy meals and crockpot meals. I use the crock pot at least once a week and having a variety of meals to cook in it would be appreciated.
Tori W. says
Thanks so much Liz! xo Tori
Nicola Daya says
Awesome can’t wait for this book. Two things I struggle with in meal planning the need for novelty – I don’t want to eat the same thing all the time and wasteful cooking choices. Having unique ingredients for a recipe that I don’t use it all up or make more than one meal from it. So I need recipes that share ingredients, even if they are different.
Also the way food is packaged and sold at the grocery store. I have too much or too little of an ingredient (needing me to buy double). So I need help using up these items (here’s looking at Asian greens).
Tori W. says
Hey Nicola! Thank you so much for the ideas. Meal planning shouldn’t feel repetitive! Leave it with me. I’ve got work to do! xo Tori
Michelle Brugess says
Tori,
I couldn’t be happier or more excited for you! This is such a wonderful news! Congratulations 👏. I will be the first in line to pre-order for all our family and friends. Looking so forward to it. Sending all my best wishes as you begin this newest chapter xo
Mary says
Love your meal plans but I would love to see recipes without sugar or healthier substitutions and dairy free. Good luck on your new book!
SRM says
Congratulations!
Easy, quick meals would be great using simple, easy to find ingredients.
Wishing you all the best on this journey!!
Ita Robbins says
Hi Tori,
I have both of the cookbooks you published with Jillian. I look forward to your solo one as well. Simple and healthy is fabulous!
Wishing you success on this wonderful journey.
Cheers 🌹
Ita
Tara says
I am excited for this new cookbook as I love your other two. I would love to see recipes that give you options what to do with leftovers/leftover ingredients. One of my biggest challenges is making a recipe and only using half of an ingredient (ie. head of cabbage or miso paste), and having the other half go bad in my fridge because I don’t know what to make with the rest of it. Best wishes to you as you pour your heart into this new cookbook!❤️
Keri Anderson says
Such great news! I think that similar to your meal plans, having sample meal plans with shopping lists for the recipes would be great. Maximizing the food we buy and reducing waste is such a challenge sometimes. I also love sheet pan dinners, one pot meals, slow-cooker. We love all of your recipes and am really looking forward to your new book!
Cristina says
I am so excited for your next cookbook. You are my fave food blogger/recipe creator. Your meal plan has been a saviour and brought excitement back into the kitchen for me. My only suggestion is providing alternatives when someone doesn’t have an air fryer or crockpot, slow cooker, etc. I never invested in extra appliances since I never had a big kitchen and don’t have space. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and your passion for good food 🙂
Liza says
Congratulations! My family and I have seriously enjoyed every meal we’ve tried from over the past 2 and a half years of being meal plan subscribers. Your recipes are easy to follow and are so so tasty. Can’t wait to get my copy of your newest cookbook. Thanks for making me love cooking again 💕
Natalie Gonneau says
Congratulations! I get turned off by a recipe that has lots of ingredients when I’m busy and trying to put a meal on the table. Simple , tasty
Lori says
Congratulations! I will definitely be adding your third cookbook to your other two I have in my collection! I would love to see recipes that are seasonally focused. Quick and nutritious, even make ahead, breakfasts and lunches would be so helpful. GF options too please.
Kate says
This is very exciting news! As a single person I would love to see modifications or maybe a small section or tips on shopping and cooking for one. Sometimes it’s just not realistic to make a recipe as the amount they make are too much even for someone like me who is happy so have leftovers, maybe just not for all my meals for 5 days. Hahaha
Raegan says
So exciting Tori!! Congrats! Can’t wait to get my hands on it! Easy, family friendly meals, slow cooker, bbq recipes for summer! I know anything you come up with is going to be delicious! Can’t wait 🙂
Marika says
Congrats, Tori! I have both of your and Jillian’s books, and I’m very much looking forward to this one. I find meal planning exhausting. I’d love to learn how to incorporate it into a lifestyle that feel like there’s never enough hours in a day—in a way that’s sustainable and manageable. I love that you’re an expert in nutrition. I’ve been vegan for 20 years, and I’d love for this book to be a solid resource for simple, nutritionally-balanced plant-based meals. Good luck Ruth the process—can’t wait to see it!
Jenn says
Congratulations! Would love to see lots more vegetarian options. Looking forward to it!
Claire says
Congratulations! I agree with all the other comments, quick and simple meals! I love the idea of crock pot ones as well! I love the substitutions (vegan, dairy free etc) in your previous cookbooks as well, very helpful. I have one daughter who is vegetarian (but hates vegetables 🙄) and another who has many food sensitivities…makes cooking very difficult in my house! Good luck and looking forward to a new cookbook!
Christina says
Congratulations! So excited to support you and get your new cookbook! I’m a busy mom of 4 little kids. Would love to see easy, healthy meals everyone will enjoy!
Diane MacDougall says
I am so excited to see this new cookbook. I already have the first 2 and I love them. Love trying new recipes and when they turn out like the pictures, its awesome!! Best of luck and I know it will be another great cookbook….
Tanya says
Congratulations!! So exciting and can’t wait to devour it 😉
I love the meal plan subscription and both cookbooks are consistently referred to in our home for all occasions. I’ve even sent you photos of your amazing recipes in the past (along with my resume, twice! HA!)
I like the idea of referencing the everyday such as simple weeknight recipes with leftovers for lunches combined with hosting a fancy dinner party or traditional BBQ on the weekends. FRAICHE EVERYDAY could be the title!!
PS. I love that mug you’re holding! Please share where it’s from!?
Kathy Goldie says
This is exciting news! I have found your recipes to be easy to follow, and always crowd pleasers. I’d love references in your book to include options ….i.e., if I’ve bought a certain spice or curry paste, I’d love to see a few different uses. As a self proclaimed foodie, I know there is a lot of work going in to every recipe. Good luck, and if you need recipe testers I’d love to sign up!
Johanne Belair says
Congratulations Tori! I love your recipes. My problem when supper time comes, my mind goes blank, I realize I’m cooking all the same thing. Would like to see simple and fast meals, some one pan sheet. I need new and tasty meals.
Tori W. says
Hey Johanne, I’m so happy you love my recipes! It’s such a compliment.
One thing I don’t have, is a shortage of recipe ideas! So leave this with me and I CAN’T wait for you to see the delicious yet simple ideas I’m cooking up… xo Tori
Lynda says
So happy for you Tori, you put so much heart and passion into everything you do and I so admire you. Congratulations on this new (and huge) project, you so deserve all your success. Looking forward to following you every step of the way on this new journey.

I’m so excited for you! I also love how your goal is to make dinners easy and nutritious! I’m wondering in your book if you could share some recipes that are good for gut health? Our whole family is starting a nutrition journey to heal our gut health and I’m always in the lookout for new recipes. Cheers to your next adventure 🥂

So excited for this! As a working mom I’d love to see crockpot meals, 30-60 minute meals as well as meals that have easy to shop for ingredients but also don’t require a ton of ingredients. I love to meal plan so I can’t wait for this cookbook!
Tori W. says

Gabriela Corvalan says
Congratulations!! I’m so excited for you and for the fall of 2026!
When it comes to cooking daily, I find it hard coming with ideas that are yummy, flavourful, and quicker to make.
Tori W. says
Hey Gabriela! Thank you so much!
Coming up with ideas seems like one of the hardest parts for everyone, luckily I have THOUSANDS! Can’t wait to get this book out to you. xo Tori
Catherine Moffatt says
Looking forward to already! Use many cookbook and meal plan recipes on a regular basis. Maybe some things that are easy, nutritious, cost effective for hungry teens ? Nutrition needs/ info for growing, busy teens.
Tori W. says
Hey Catherine! I am so happy to hear you are an avid cookbook and meal plan user. Yay!
Love the note about nutrition needs for growing teens, I should put something together for that to help others! Thanks so much for the feedback. xo Tori
Diana says
Congratulations Tori! Very exciting news and look forward to buying your new cookbook. I have the previous two and love them.
I would love to see the breakdown of your recipes (how much carbs, fat and protein) are in each recipe. Now that I am approaching 50 I find that we need to be conscious of how much protein we are eating and fibre!! So I am always looking for balanced meals not only for myself but for my husband and teenage daughters as well. Thanks for taking the time to read this 🙂
Tori W. says
Hi Diana! Thanks for the support and sharing what you’d like to see, it means so much!
I hear you when it comes to the protein and fibre. I am actually working on a resource to share soon on protein so keep an eye out for it as it may help xo Tori
Lisa says
SO excited for you! And for me, to get the cookbook! Your recipes are a staple in our home.
Tori W. says
Thanks so much Lisa! xo Tori
Claire says
Congratulations! I love the first two cookbooks!
I’d say last minutes ideas… because even with the best laid (meal-planning) plans, sometimes things happen, and having a few quick ideas to fall back on in a pinch can be so helpful!
Tori W. says
Hey Claire! Thank you so much. Great note about the last minute recipes. We could all use some SOS style recipes! xo Tori
Jessica says
Congratulations Tori! I certainly look forward to purchasing the next cookbook! Your recipes are always delicious, and you inspire me to be more creative in the kitchen. I use your recipes as a base for many of my own creations.
I am a busy professional with just myself and my husband, so I am a big fan of batch cooking for the week ahead on the weekends and living off of the leftovers so I do not have to cook during the week. I would appreciate recipes/meal planning that could work with this style of cooking.
Tori W. says
Hi Jessica! Thank you so much! Your support means the world. I appreciate the feedback about batch cooking – noted!! xo Tori
Michelle says
OMG So pumped ! I love your cookbooks / recipes
So happy for you !!
You asked if we had any suggestions.
Myself when I come home from work, the last thing I want to do is to cook.
Therefore my food choices at that point are not always the most healthy ones.
Would love to see a section specifically on “ Quick meals “ Just home from work what to eat ?
Tori W. says
Hi Michelle! THANK YOU for the love and support! I really appreciate it.
I’ve noted the need for “quick meals.” It sure seems like a common theme for so many people. xo Tori
Nancy Horne says
I’m so happy to hear this. I’ll be waiting….. my only suggestion would be to include, never mind. I’ll be happy with any of your well thought out family( kid) friendly recipes.
Tori W. says
Hi Nancy! I love this. Thanks so much! xo Tori
Sharon says
This is so awesome Tori! As a busy Mom of 4, anything that is LOW PREP is always helpful. So less than 7 ingredients, or sheet pan meals or slow cooker meals. Can’t wait to purchase! xo
Tori W. says
Hey Sharon! Thank you so much. This busy mama totally understands!
Thanks for for the helpful tips, I hope I do you proud! xo Tori
Lori says
Congratulations! Your culinary passion and creativity are sure to shine through every page. I can’t wait to savor the delicious recipes and culinary delights you’ll be sharing with the world. Best of luck on this amazing endeavor!
Tori W. says

Stefanie says
I love to hear you’re going it solo, congrats! I think lately the biggest challenge is cost. I definitely think twice about those sometimes pricier items at the grocery store. Looking forward to it 🙂
Tori W. says
Hi Stefanie! Thank you for the support!
I appreciate the note about cost (and totally get it!), and maybe finding more creative ways to batch cook, shop less etc. Adding it to my list to work on!
xo Tori
Brenda Cremer says
Terrific news Tori! I love the first two cookbooks and I know I will love the new one. I like recipes that can be scaled down for two people, but have enough leftovers for lunch the next day. I love to cook and my husband loves everything I’ve cooked from your cookbooks, and he is very picky. We look forward to your new book. Good luck!
Tori W. says
Hi Brenda! I love that I have both you and your husbands seal of approval! It makes me so happy to hear. Thank you for the love and support. I am a big fan of leftovers too so I appreciate your note. I hope I do you proud! xo Tori
Jody says
Congratulations, Tori! This solo adventure will be amazing. I really like the two cookbooks and I absolutely love your meal plan. I would love to see many of the recipes from the meal plan be included in the book. Everything we made from the meal plan is easy to make and absolutely delicious. The recipe bank is my best friend! Best of luck!!
Tori W. says
Hi Jody! Thank you so much for the words of support and I am THRILLED to hear you are loving the meal plan! xo Tori
Jamie says
So happy to hear this! I love all of your recipes and I constantly use your website and both cookbooks. The magic dough in the latest cookbook is such a great idea and I use it so often, so things like that with multiple uses would be great in the next book. And I am always looking for vegetarian slow cooker ideas. (I love your spinach and artichoke crockpot dip!)
Very excited for a meal plan type of book from you.
Tori W. says
Hi Jamie! First, thank you so much for the love and support! Second, I LOVE the note about the Magic Dough and how you enjoyed how multi-purpose it was. I should totally do more recipes like that.
xo Tori
Beth says
I saw a similar comment, but making meals interesting for older single people is challenging. One can only enjoy leftovers from larger recipes so many days before they end up getting tossed. And freezer space is at a minimum. Please help us, Tori! There are more of us out here than you can imagine.
Madeline Rounds says
Congratulations Tori! 🤍 So excited to come along for the journey and for the cookbook!
Tori W. says
Thank you so much Madeline! I am really grateful for your support! xo Tori
Margaret Dziarmaga says
Congratulations!
I don’t subscribe to your meal plan but I’d be buying your cookbook as I love hardcover books.
I would like to see macros for each meal / portion . I am personally trying to get more protein in my diet. Making meals for grown men ( kids still at home) can be a challenge to meet all their appetites as well as being healthy and balanced. Can’t wait until it comes out.
Have fun in the process. !
Rachel Gilfillan says
Congratulations!! Can’t wait for it!
My biggest meal time concerns are keeping grocery expenses down. And freezer meal ideas would be great too!!
Tori W. says
Hi Rachel! Thanks so much! xo Tori
Brittany Neuenfeldt says
I am so excited! If I could pre-order now I would!
Have always loved your work Tori and KNOW it’ll be amazing.
Id love to continue to see some DF options / legends. It makes it so easy when hosting to accomodate your guests!
I also love a “time stamp” – this recipe is about X minutes of prep and X minutes of cook time.
Goodluck in the writing process! 💓
Tori W. says
Hi Brittany! You are SO kind! Thank you for the love and support, it means so much to me…
Great feedback too! xo Tori
TRINA HARGRAVE says
Congratulations Tori! I will definitely be purchasing your new cookbook! I would love to see simple ingedients you can easily get at any grocery store, not a huge ingredients list and a 30-45 minute ready to go window. Soooo looking forward to it!
Tori W. says
Hi Trina! Thanks so much for the support! Love these tips, I will prioritize making recipes simple and quick in this book! I cannot wait for you to cook from it one day…
xo Tori
Diana says
I really need help with making meals for 1 – for me. A single person. I like to eat healthy but also been eating unhealthy snacks. Having lost about 80 pounds was long and hard only to have gained 35 back. Trying to buy healthy food AND on sale is hard for my brain to figure out yet it should not be. Trying to figure out buying food and making it to last for more then 1 or 2 meals. Variety would be nice as i seem to stick to same foods and that may be why i dive into unhealthy foods more and more. I do like veg, fruit, some proteins like chicken, samon, tuna, ground turkey or beef…..try to stay limited on carbs. Not sure if this will help with ideas for your book. Really need help for a single person making meals.
Paula says
Congratulations! This is amazing news! The thing I struggle with the most is we’re only a family of three and I live with picky eaters. My son is on the Autism spectrum so he has some of the food adversities that comes with that, doesn’t like veggies, texture is a concern, and my husband is picky in other ways. I, on the other hand, like pretty much everything. However, most of my meals cater to their needs/wants and I am compromising most of the time, or else I’m making three different versions of something. It’s a struggle to think of something different on a daily basis, essentially making meal planning exhausting. I’m open to any suggestions for easier meal planning ideas.
Lyndsay says
This is such good news! Fraiche Table is used almost exclusively in my house. I would love to see more sheet pan type meals and a series of interchangeable dinner options. For example: a few tasty protein options that can be used in a salad, wrap, nachos, baked potato, bowl etc. Sort of a four column ordeal where you have the protein, carb and topping and dressing options. I like this because busy families can double the protein and use it a few different ways!

Hey Lyndsay, I love the way you’re thinking! I like that “multipurpose” type of meal prepping a lot. Thank you!
Also, I smiled so big when I read “Fraiche Table is used almost exclusively in my house”! That means so much to me, I am so happy you are loving it!

Congratulations! So excited for you and I’m sure it will be as beautiful as the other two.
As a mum with kids at various activities, make ahead meals for nights while at sports that you could easily reheat/eat on the go or put in a food thermos to eat between activities. Thanks so much x

Quick meals. Meals for a crowd, meals for a dinner party, leftovers for lunch. Thank you for your inspired recipes to date.

Accurate bake times and prep times. They always seem to take longer. Maybe I’m just slow haha.

first off, congrats on the exciting new cookbook to come ! wishing you the best of luck, however you don’t need it. you’ll hit this out of the park.
something i’d love to see is some plain, quick & easy meals. my kids are getting better with eating what’s on the table, however they don’t love spice, or can be picky at times. whatever you choose will be amazing & i can’t wait to cook them for my family! cheers tori 🤍

So exciting! One of my favorite cookbooks, besides yours of course, is The Main by Anthony Sedlak. The reason being, is that, each recipe comes with accompaniments. For example…recipe for bolognese comes with a braised fennel recipe so it’s a complete meal. It’s all on one page so I don’t have to look for the recommended pairing. I would love to see something like that. Everything you create is delicious I have no doubt it will be the next top 10. If you need recipe testers…I’m your gal.
