If there’s one thing I’ll never forget, it’s the magic of Jilly’s Jasper bachelorette weekend in the heart of the Rockies. Jilly isn’t just my cousin—she’s more like a sister. So when it came to planning a celebration for our Alberta girl, we knew it had to be equal parts relaxing, beautiful, and FUN. From mountain views to mimosa mornings, here’s a little peek into the unforgettable, perfect mountain weekend we shared.
Why We Chose Jasper for Our Jasper Bachelorette Weekend
As a Northern Alberta gal through and through, our bride Jilly has always had a soft spot for the mountains—and we knew she needed a weekend that felt grounded, cozy, and connected to her roots. Jasper was the obvious choice: rugged, beautiful, and just remote enough to feel like a true escape but within driving distance for us all.
We called the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge home for the weekend, and WOW!!! Nestled on the shores of Lac Beauvert with the Rockies standing tall in the background, it truly felt like stepping into a cozy mountain dream.

The dreamy Outlook Cabin (that slept 16) was the perfect mix of rustic charm and luxurious comfort for our Jasper bachelorette weekend, with crackling fireplaces, plush beds with privacy, and plenty of space for us to gather as a group. I loved how we could be all together but have a resort experience at the same time: very unique and perfect for a bachelorette!
We spent our time soaking in the hot tub, gathering around the fire with caesars, canoeing, cold dipping, breathing in that crisp alpine air, and felt completely wrapped in the magic of it all. It gave us the space to let our hair down, laugh too hard, dance in our cabin until it was past our bedtimes, and fully celebrate our bride in the kind of setting she loves most. Complete with country music, cowboy boots, spicy caesars, and unforgettable moments. It was perfect.

Jilly’s Bachelorette Party Swag Bags
No bachelorette weekend is complete without a little something extra! We put together custom swag bags for our Jasper bachelorette weekend—and they were an absolute HIT. Each one was filled with goodies from brands Jilly loves, making them feel both personal and thoughtful.
One of our top tips for building the ultimate swag bags? Include items the group can use during the trip. For us, that meant matching cowboy hats, cozy PJ sets, over-sized sweatshirts, and rehydration powders (very necessary). Not only did it add to the fun of the weekend, but it made for the cutest group photos and helped everyone feel part of something special right from the start. Swag bags are such a simple way to set the tone for the weekend and show your crew a little extra love.
Each of our Camp Jilly swag bags included:
- Poppy and Peonies Bags
- Mission Hill Wine
- Brunette the Label customized matching sweatshirts
- Caudalie face spray and mask
- Mad About Style Pj’s with monogrammed initials
- Aritzia Cowboy hats
- Rehydration powder from Within Us Naturals
- Luxury hair products from Pomme
- Jilly Box goodies such as beer coozies, hair clips, masks and more

Jasper Bachelorette Itinerary
We planned the itinerary to be the perfect blend of pampering, adventure, and all-out fun. Here were some of the big highlights. Consider this inspiration for your own mountain-themed bachelorette party!
1. Welcome Cocktail Hour: Take a look at the stunning spread Jasper Park Lodge had ready for us! Kicking things off with a welcome cocktail hour instantly set a celebratory, fun tone for the weekend! It gave everyone a chance to break the ice, mingle, and of course, give Jilly the warmest welcome when she arrived. Take a look at the stunning spread the Fairmont had ready for us! Oysters, charcuterie, and bubbles of course!

2. Spa Day: We each booked treatments to enjoy a little R&R between activities—Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge has a fabulous spa. If you can find a way to incorporate some pampering into your bachelorette weekend, I highly recommend it. We all deserved a little indulgence, especially the bride-to-be! Between appointments, we made the pool home base for the day and ate a spa lunch pool side!

3. Kayak Races on the Lake: Okay, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend doing this the morning after a big night out (lol), but we couldn’t resist making the most of the on-site kayaks and stunning natural setting at Jasper Park Lodge. It turned into a giggle fest…turns out none of us are exactly Olympic rowing material.
4. Games: Playing a few fun games is a must at any bachelorette party, and ours did not disappoint. We created “Jilly Jeopardy” a personalized, Jilly-themed twist on the classic game show. It was so much fun that my stomach still hurts from laughing!

5. Outdoor Fire Pit Night: This was an absolute must. With a fire pit and picnic tables just outside our cabin, we spent one evening making Caesars, roasting marshmallows, grilling hot dogs, and soaking in the fresh mountain air. It was simple, cozy, and one of the best parts of the weekend—just the girls, nature, and a crackling fire.

6. In-Cabin Dining: I underestimated how awesome it would be to have meals catered to us in the cabin. Of course, the food was exceptional (the Fairmont way), and eating in our loungewear was such a treat. As the person who usually cooks for everyone it was so nice to relax with everyone instead of spending that precious time in the kitchen or washing dishes.

What to Pack for a Jasper Bachelorette
When you’re heading to the mountains (especially for something as special as a bachelorette weekend) packing the right things makes all the difference. Here’s the packing list I sent to our group ahead of time, and let me tell you: giving some outfit guidance and theme inspo was a total game-changer.
Whether it’s matching PJ sets, cowboy boots, or something cute for cocktails, your girls will thank you for the heads-up. Trust me, it’s way more fun when everyone feels prepared and included!
Some things to pack when heading to Jasper:
- Cozy loungewear or matching PJ sets
- Swimsuit for the hot tub or spa
- Hiking or activewear (for outdoor adventures or yoga)
- 1-2 “dress-up” outfits for a nice dinner or night out
- Cowboy boots and hats (if you’re doing a country theme)
- Warm layers – even in summer, Jasper evenings can be chilly
- Casual daytime outfits (think cute and comfy)
- Toiletries and beauty must-haves (don’t forget SPF and dry shampoo)
- A small crossbody or backpack for daytime outings
- Optional: A fun themed outfit or accessories for any planned group games or surprises

Tips for Planning a Stress-Free Bachelorette
Planning a bachelorette can feel a little (okay, a lot) overwhelming—especially when you’re juggling guest lists, travel, and trying to make it unforgettable for the bride. But with a little prep and some key tips, it can be a total dream. Here’s what worked for us and what we’d do again in a heartbeat.
1. Book Early (Like, Really Early)
Mountain towns like Jasper are popular year-round, and accommodations at places like Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge can book up fast, especially if you’re going with a larger group. The earlier you lock in your stay, the better your choices (and usually the better the rates). We booked several months in advance, which gave us more flexibility and peace of mind.
2. Keep the Itinerary Balanced
One of our best moves on this Jasper bachelorette? Not over-scheduling (something I can be known for on trips!). We created a flexible itinerary with a mix of relaxing downtime and fun group activities, so there was room for spontaneous wine chats, coffee on the deck, or naps if anyone needed them (and spoiler: someone always does). Mountain bachelorettes are perfect for this type of vibe!
3. Assign Roles to Share the Load
Don’t try to do everything yourself. Dividing up responsibilities made the weekend run so smoothly. That way, no one felt overwhelmed, and everyone felt involved. Pro tip: start a group chat or shared doc early on to keep communication clear.
4. Build in “Bride Time”
It’s easy to fill the weekend with group fun, but carving out special moments just for the bride makes it extra meaningful. We gave Jilly a little solo spa appointment to relax. Pure bliss!
5. Let the Bride Lead the Vibe
Most importantly, tailor the weekend to the bride’s style. Is she a chill-homebody-bride? Life of the party? Make sure the weekends vibe matches what she enjoys most.
This Jasper bachelorette was a total success! This trip was everything a bachelorette weekend should be: full of late night giggles, pampering, and a little adventure. We couldn’t be more excited for Jilly, and we’ll be holding onto these memories forever.
Jasper, thank you for the most magical send-off for our girl. ❤️

Thank you for sharing” Jilly’s joy”.
Congratulation to everyone especially bride Jilly.
