How To Make Spinach & Artichoke Dip
It is easy as 1,2,3….literally! Step 1: Combine all of the ingredients in your slow cooker. Step 2: Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours or on high for 1 hour. Step 3: Stir, season and taste (add salt and pepper) and dig in while it’s warm!
Spinach & Artichoke Dip Ingredients
The ingredients here are pretty classic to a spinach & artichoke dip. I substituted some of the cream cheese for Greek yogurt to keep it a bit lighter than other recipes without sacrificing the flavour. Feel free to use low fat cream cheese if you wish. You can use fresh spinach OR frozen here, just make sure to thaw and drain frozen spinach before adding it to the crockpot.
- spinach (fresh or frozen)
- canned artichoke hearts
- cream cheese
- plain full-fat Greek yogurt
- shredded mozzarella cheese
- grated parmesan cheese
- white onion
- garlic
- salt & pepper to taste
Easy Dip Recipes
You can never go wrong with a good dip! It is an easy go-to when prepping for hosting a get together, or contributing to a potluck. I love serving with different assortment of crackers (always including a couple gluten free options), tortilla chips, sliced baguette, and veggies. I have built up a decent repertoire over the years and here are some of my favourites:
- Beer Cheese Dip
- Baked Tomato & Feta Dip
- Hummus or Roasted Zucchini Hummus
- Creamy Cashew Cheese Dip
- Guacamole
