Halloween is just around the corner and if you’re looking for inspiration this year, I’ve rounded up 6 of my favourite Halloween recipes! From the cutest snacks to a few simple spooky decor pieces, we’ve got you covered.
There’s officially less than 2 weeks to Halloween (huh?) and we’re planning some fun recipes to make with the kids that are too cute not to share. Halloween may look a little different this year but we are still celebrating in some fun ways!
I took the kids to the pumpkin patch this weekend and it was a blast! It felt so good to get outside and enjoy the crisp fall air and Max managed to get as dirty as humanly possible (sign of a good time). As the weather gets colder I have a feeling we’ll be looking for a few more indoor activities and these recipes are the perfect place to start! And can we talk about Max’s curls (below)? It’s clearly an old picture!
Halloween Recipes
Boo-nanas
These slightly healthier treats are the absolute cutest and are so simple to make. They keep great in the freezer if you want to make them ahead of time! You can sub yogurt for the white chocolate for the bananas if you’re wanting to up the nutrition factor. The kids LOVE making these.
Peanut Butter Cups
These Peanut Butter Cups are a HIT and aren’t super sweet either unlike the store-bought versions. Using white chocolate you can make little ghosts for a cute treat!
Spinach & Artichoke Dip with Ghost Toasts
This “Swamp Dip” is something fun to make if you’re looking for something savoury to make. I love that the spinach that gets sneaked in here adds nutrients while also making it fun! A cute cookie cutter is all you need to take this appetizer to the next level.
Monster Avocado Mashups
I made these for Jill’s site a couple years your ago and they are such a delicious treat that is totally vegan and super yummy! It’s THE BEST way to use up avocados that are looking a little sad. You can add gummy worms into your pudding to turn it into “Worms and Dirt”, so cute!
Spooky White Hot Chocolate Spoons
I was scrolling through Monika’s site and couldn’t resist sharing these with you, aren’t these adorable? Such a cute little idea and they would make for such a fun little gift!
Meringue Ghosts
These spooky sweet little meringues were a blast to create with Charlie a couple years ago! They are more simple than you think and so fun to decorate together.
