Happy Birthday to Me . . . and YOU! 4 Giveaways To Ring in my BIG 40!

Someone please tell me how that crept up on me so fast!?  I’m 40 YEARS OLD TODAY!  (I still feel 25 for the record). I’ll confess that I had a really hard time for a few weeks earlier this year thinking about turning 40, dumbfounded by how quickly time is flying.  And I discovered at the same time that aging sure brings on a lot of contemplation!

Am I doing enough?  Am I doing the RIGHT things with my life?  And why is my skin starting to resemble a paper bag thank-you-very-much?

But I quickly whipped my perspective into shape to celebrate it in all of it’s imperfecty perfect glory. Hey, I’m alive!  And I live in Canada (love my country) with my sweet healthy family, am surrounded by dear friends, have a roof over my head (or will soon lol, right babe?), good food on the table, and get to do exactly what I love for work every day. I’m so very grateful that I have the fortune of celebrating a 40th birthday, what a GIFT!

As you may know if you follow me on Instagram, my sweet cousin Jillian and my amazing friends surprised me for my birthday celebration a couple of weeks back to take me to Whistler for the most EPIC girls weekend!  I had zero clue!  From the mind-blowing gorgeous accommodations, spa treatments and food at the Four Seasons Whistler, the stunning bouquets of Landeau roses to the adrenaline rush of the RZR tour with The Adventure Group (got a little mud on those tires…and in my teeth!), it was nothing short of perfect.  Thank you Sharla for taking such gorgeous pictures to capture the weekend you’re such a talented photographer and sweet friend!

My heart is SO full that I wanted to share some of the love with you! Thank you all for following along on my blog, trying my recipes, the honest feedback, the sweet encouraging comments, and for giving me a chance to share my passion you.  It truly means the world to me.
