I find it hard to believe I have not done a buffalo cauliflower yet on the blog, but here we are! This baked version is seriously addicting and you can adjust the heat of the buffalo sauce to suit your family. We used Frank’s buffalo sauce, but you could also use equal parts hot sauce and butter and melt it down, or toss in something else like BBQ sauce! Regardless of if you are vegetarian or not, these are a fantastic appetizer.
How To Make Baked Buffalo Cauliflower
To get the crisp and crunch here (without the hassle of oil frying) the trick is making a batter! Flour, garlic powder, salt, onion powder and milk come together to form a simple batter. Coat the cauliflower (mindful to shake off any excess) and bake for 20 minutes on one side, then 20 on the other side. I like to broil it for the final couple minutes for an extra crispness! Only once your cauliflower is done in the oven, toss it in the buffalo sauce and coat them nicely before immediately serving.

Is the buffalo sauce missing from this recipe?
Tori W. says
Hey Cindy! It will depend on how much you wish to coat the buffalo with – start with 1/2 cup and go from there! This could also be tossed in BBQ sauce or another sauce if desired too.
