It doesn’t get any easier than this simple Baked Brie recipe! Enjoy it in two different ways, this stunning appetizer is full of ooey gooey cheese, sweet fruit chutney, festive herbs and crunchy nuts! You will be bringing this to all your upcoming parties I guarantee it!
Why make this appetizer 1 way when you can make it two!? I tested this out and loved them both so figured I would include them here for you. The best part about this recipe is that you probably have most of the ingredients in your kitchen already! Grab a couple wheels of brie cheese and a sheet of puff pastry, an apple chutney (or something similar) and nuts (I used pecans) and away we go!
How To Make Brie Bites
I love the idea of a little bite sized appetizer, and these brie bites are delicious! Here’s the easy steps:
- Prepare a muffin tin with no. stick spray (don’t miss this step!)
- Roll a sheet of puff pastry out into a large rectangle and cut into small squares
- Press each square into each muffin to to form a cup
- Dice up brie cheese wheel and add 1-2 piece to each muffin tin
- Top the brie with chutney and nuts
- Bake until golden brown then transfer the bites to a serving plate, and garnish with fresh rosemary
What is Brie Cheese
Brie cheese is a soft, buttery, French cow’s milk cheese and quite possibly a gift from the cheese gods themselves (lol). It is named after the French region Brie, where it was originally created. I LOVE brie cheese and never miss adding it onto my charcuterie spread. Try some of my other recipes like Pear and Brie Crostini or Cranberry Brie Hand Pies for more ways to use this amazing cheese!
Easy Appetizers

- Stuffed Mushrooms Two Ways
- Pull-Apart Pizza Bun Wreath
- Salmon Cakes with Dill Tartar Sauce
- Soft Pretzel Bites with Beer Cheese
- Goat Cheese Cigars

Do you remove the rind for any of your brie recipes? Love brie but not the rind so much!
Tori Wesszer says
You certainly can if you don’t enjoy the rind!

Can I sub camembert for brie?
